At our UNITY! Hawza, we teach a 4-year fully online academic programme, including:

• Year 1: “10 Principles of Islam”, Usul ad-Din.

• Year 2: “Principles of Jurisprudence”, Usul al-Fiqh.

• Year 3: “Islamic Philosophy”, Hikmat al-Islam.

• Year 4: “Islamic Mysticism”, Irfaniyyat & Tasawwuf.

Further modules in Qur’anic Hermeneutics, Islamic Arts & Culture, Rhetoric and Qur’anic Arabic shall hopefully be added shortly, Allah willing. Also we are listening to your suggestions!

Costs starting with Winter Semester 2023/24 shall be: 120€ per Year and Module. Participation for Year 1 “Principles of Islam” is permanently free for all Hawza members, including repeat participants, however a Completion Certificate – and thus, graduation to further years – can only be granted with full payment for our Year 1 class and a successfully completed Final Thesis. Financial Aid is available to those challenged, upon special request.

Admissions are currently on an invite-basis only. We pride ourselves in creating a small, safe and secure Islamic online Hawza with good intentions and behaviour, in which each individual member can and should feel comfortable expressing his or her viewpoints, researching, dialoging and participating in our classes in a free, vibrant and educationally enriching manner.
